Privacy policy

Last updated 16 August 2026

Before you launch

This is a starter privacy-policy template, not legal advice. Have qualified counsel review it for your company, jurisdictions, vendors, and actual data practices before production launch.

Screen sharing and session data

Homer receives only the screen, window, or browser tab you explicitly share through your browser. While capture is active, selected screenshots may contain anything visible in that shared surface. Hide sensitive information before starting and pause or stop sharing at any time.

How screenshots are used

Changed frames are compressed, sent to private storage, and processed to understand your work. Google Gemini may process selected images and structured session evidence on our behalf. Raw frames are retained temporarily for evidence and can be deleted with the session; a scheduled cleanup removes stale frames according to the configured retention period.

Account and billing data

Supabase processes account, project, session, and authentication data. Stripe processes payment details; Homer stores only customer, subscription, price, status, and renewal identifiers needed to provide access.

Training

We do not use customer content to train our models unless the customer explicitly opts in. Model providers process inputs under their applicable API data terms.

Your choices

You can delete individual sessions, all session data, or your account from Settings. Some billing and security records may need to be retained where legally required.
